Super kid was able to name it straight away, so it is officially a heart.

Super kid wanted a hat "like dolly", except it turned out that actually meant red with teddy bear ears... and I managed it!

I managed to turn the proto-nipple warmer into a doll's hat :)

Mystery crochet

I've cracked straight/square single crochet, so I launched into a round...



Safe to say I've not quite cracked the magic ratio for increasing... and seem to be creating a lovely nipple warmer!

By the end of today I will be ready for Christmas, if it does me in (and it might, house work def isn't getting done!)

Happy hump day

Today I crested the wave of the week by...

Allowing myself to get far too stressed by the never ending to do list, and busy shops. I know I'm off today, but no one else is supposed to be!

Climbing out the angst, until the acheivements of my own muscles helped me get centred again (also aided by chocolate, painkillers and a good long drink of water... Stress headache be gone)




Finishing the afternoon with an immense slice of apple cake with cinnamon meranque icing and mint mocha courtesy of my favourite cafe, friendly welcome and smiley faces no extra charge.

So Wednesday has ended up pretty well in the end (not detailed are the raft of chores etc cos they're no fun). I'm gonna miss them if I do change my work days (tho working consecutive days instead will be worth it)

Here's to the weekend, I can see it on the horizon!

We spent some time yesterday morning beginning to clear it, and most of my evening has gone down the rabbit hole of the internet exploring options for what to actually do with it (dig, a lot).
